Introduction

Welcome to the Lynne Friedman Studio blog.

However, newer work will be featured on my blog.

Works on this site are watercolors and drawings. The watercolors were created in the winter of 2007 at a residency at the Julia & David White Art Colony in Ciudad Colon, Costa Rica and were exhibited in a two person show at the Galeria Nacional, Costa Rica in March 2008 entitled "La Tierra Sagrada/The Sacred Earth."

Further exploration of botanical themes continued into 2008-2010 and led to the creation of "The Cosmic Garden Series", 30 pen/ink images based upon natural phenomena, originals and limited edition prints.
